How can I subscribe for VMS? |

To subscribe for VMS, Ethio Telecom will send all postpaid subscribers Short Message Service (SMS) whether you want to subscribe or not. If you want to subscribe, you should send “ACT” to 824. Your number will be activated for Voice Mail Service (VMS). You should then divert your phone to +251821 whenever you want to divert your call to VMS according to your preference (All calls, When no answer, When busy, when no network coverage or When switched off) |

You will receive a short message (SMS) notification whenever you have a new message in your mail box. |

You should dial 824 and you can listen one by one each message. You can replay, save, deleted, go to the next message directly, hear the caller number and call return. You can review the deleted message before hung up your phone and save it again. |

To customize your personal greeting dial 824, then you will reach the Interactive Voice Record (IVR), follow the procedure i.e. Press 2 then Press 1 then you can record like “Hello, it’s <your name>, please leave me a message after the tone. Thanks”), finally press *. |
