Following the company’s three years growth strategy plan to expand 4G LTE service in 103 cities with high data usage, we are thrilled to announce the launching of LTE Advanced mobile internet service in the Central West Region (Ambo, Sebeta, Burayu, Holeta and Woliso) towns where high mobile data traffic has been observed. We believe that high bandwidth, high-speed features and reliable data services of 4G LTE will enable and empower our customers to digitize their services, increase productivity and improve their experiences.

So far, Ethio telecom has expanded its 4G LTE service in Addis Ababa and 12 regions namely Southeast Region, Northwest Region, East East Region, South South West Region, East Region, Central East Region, North East Region, North East East Region, Southwest Region, South Region and North North West Regions of 72 towns including Central West Region.

Likewise, our company is about to finalize the expansion of 4G LTE service in line with the data growth and demand and is in the process of launching the service in various regional towns soon.

In this regard, we would like to call up on players in the ecosystem to capitalize this opportunity by providing useful contents & affordable handsets and join hands in realizing digital inclusion which paves the way for digital economy.

We are also pleased to request our esteemed customers who reside in those towns where the 4G LTE service is already launched and available to visit the nearby Ethio telecom shops and upgrade their 3G SIM cards to 4G for free of charge so as to enjoy the fruit of 4G LTE internet service.
