1. Ethio telecom intends to sign a Master Frame Agreement (MFA) contract for one (1) year with a possibility of extension up to a maximum of 3 years with the finally awarded bidder/bidders. Hence, ethio telecom invites all interested and eligible bidders by this International Competitive Bid (ICB) for the procurement of Different Types of Splitter, Different types of Drop Cable, Different Types of Dome and Inline Optic Fiber Splicing Closure, Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve, Wall and Pole Mount ODF and Patch Panel With Organizer, Different types of Patch Cord, Pigtail, Adapter and Connector and Optical Fiber Cable Technician Tool Kit with RFQ No: 4066231, 4066236 4066238, 4066239, 4066241, 4066242 and4066243 respectively. The Tender remains floating from July 05, 2021 to August 02, 2021.

2. All Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from ethio telecom website (www.ethiotelecom.et) and inspect the bidding document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (one hundred only) in person from Head Quarter, 3rdFloor, and Room No. 304 or you can get the bid document from www.extratenders.com and www.afrotender.com starting from bid floating period.
3. Interested bidders are expected to fulfill the Requirements stated here below:
a) Bid Security for LOT-1(100,000), LOT-2 (50,000), LOT-3 (50,000), LOT-4 (5000), LOT-5 (20,000), LOT-6 (100,000) and LOT-7 (20,000)
b) Availability of Letter of Authorization to sign the bid offers;
c) Anti-bribery pledge form;
Regardless of interested foreign bidders, all local firm organized and licensed under the law of Ethiopia that qualify the bid must be fulfill the following;
d) Bidders should have a valid and renewed trade license for the current year;
e) Bidders should have VAT registration certificate.
4. The Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of LOT-1(100,000), LOT-2 (50,000), LOT-3 (50,000), LOT-4 (5000), LOT-5 (20,000), LOT-6 (100,000) and LOT-7 (20,000). However, bidders who want to participate for all LOT shall be submit the bid security for ETB 345,000 (Birr Three Hundred Forty Five Thousand Only).
4.1 The bid bond shall be furnished in one of the following forms: –
a) Certified Cheque /CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank or
b) Bond issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized /reputable domestic bank.
4.2 The Bank that issues the bond as per 3.1 (b) here above shall unequivocally guarantee to pay the purchaser immediately upon the first written demand of payment. The Purchaser’s written demand of payment shall not be subject to any condition whatsoever.
4.3 The bond-issuing bank shall clearly incorporate the content stated under Clause here above on the issued bond.

5. Bid proposal will be received at the Churchill Road, Head Quarter 2nd Floor, Room No.211B, before or on August 02, 2021 until 5:30 P.M. Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date and time shall not be accepted.
6. Bids received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on August 03, 2021 at 10:00 A.M, at Churchill Road, Head Quarter 2nd Floor, Room No.201.
7. Partial bid with LOT is allowed. However, partial bid with in the LOT is not allowed.
8. Bidder are seriously advised to read and comply with the instruction provided in this bidding document.
9. No one is allowed to duplicate or transfer the bidding document that she/he acquired to participate under this invitation.
10. Ethio telecom reserves the right to reject all or parts of this bid.
