Monthly Bill Payment Options

Settle your bills via your preferred payment choice.

CBE-Birr Mobile Wallet

  1.  Dial *847# and enter your password
  2.  Enter number 5 to select “pay bill
  3. Select Ethio telecom bill payment (4th option)
  4. Insert service number/account number to proceed with the payment (outstanding balance will show up)
  5. Choose number 4 to complete the payment.

Telecom service settlement

Steps via EnQuPay:

Use the Bank’s mobile wallet application and go to the “Top up: menu to settle your postpaid telecom service bills.

Awash Bank Mobile Wallet

  1. Dial *901# and enter 4-digit password;
  2. Enter no. 2 to select “Mobile bill”;
  3. Select service number;
  4. Choose from mobile postpaid bill services options;
  5. Enter service number or service code;
  6. Enter the amount of Birr you want pay in numbers;
  7. Select “1” to confirm your payment.

Coopay Mobile wallet

 

  1. Dial to *841# and enter your password;
  2. Enter no. 6 to select “Recharge airtime”;
  3. To settle your own bills, select no. 1 and enter the amount you want then finish.
  4. To settle another number’s bill, select no. 2 –> enter service number –> enter the amount you want to pay in numbers and finish.

Berhan Mobile Wallet

  1. Dial to *881# and enter your password;
  2. Enter no. 5 to select “Bill Payment”;
  3. Enter no. 1 to select “Airtime top up”.
  4. Enter no. 2 to select “Postpaid”;
  5. Select the account you want to pay for from the list;
  6. Select your postpaid or another service number;
  7. Enter the bill amount in numbers;
  8. Enter 6-digit password and finish.

Hibir Mobile wallet

 

  1. Dial to *811# and enter your password;
  2. Select number 7;
  3. Enter no. 1 to select “Airtime Service”;
  4. To settle your own bills, select no. 1; to settle another number’s bill enter no. 2;
  5. Enter the bill amount in numbers;
  6. Enter password;
  7. Select 1 to finish.

Abay Bank (Mobile wallet)

  1. Dial *812# and Enter PIN;
  2. Choose no. 4 and press “Send
  3. Choose no. 2 again and press “Send”;
  4. Choose source Account from menu and Press “Send”;
  5. Enter service number (e.g. 0911000000);
  6. Enter the amount to pay;
  7. Enter PIN to confirm;

  3. Select 1 to recharge your mob and 2 to recharge another person mob.
  4. Select from the list 1-9 for  Birr amount
  5. Enter PIN
  6. Select 1 for Confirm or 2 for cancel

E-birr Mobile Wallet

  1. Dial to *841# and enter your password;
  2. Enter no. 6 to select “Recharge airtime”;
  3. To settle your own bills, select no. 1 and enter the amount you want then finish.
  4. To settle another number’s bill, select no. 2 à enter service number à enter the amount you want to pay in numbers and finish.

YIMULU electronic to up

 

  1. You can settle your bills via YIMULU service at our shops or partners’ point of sales (PoS).
  2. Our YIMULU service is available all over the county: supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals, photo studios, other businesses and service centers.
  3. To settle your telecom service bill, you provide your service number to YIMULU partner.

Prepaid voucher card

  1. Via SMS

a. To settle for your number: type *hidden voucher card number# and send it to 805.

b. To pay for another number: type *hidden voucher card number*service number# and send it to 805.

Example: *hidden voucher card number*09xxxxxx# send to 805.

a. To settle for your number: type *hidden voucher card number# and send it to 805.

b. To pay for another number: type *hidden voucher card number*service number# and send it to 805.

3. Via IVR

  1. First, buy a prepaid voucher card
  2. Dial 903 and then select 1 for balance recharge
  3. To settle your own bill: select 1 and enter the hidden number then press #
  4. To settle another person/ service number bill select 2 and then enter the service number then press #. Enter the hidden number and follow the audio instructions.

Tips on bill payment via prepaid mobile voucher cards:  

    • If you choose a prepaid mobile voucher card value higher than your bill amount, the remaining amount will be reserved as an advance payment for your next month’s bill.
    • Based on the amount of your bill settlement, we recommend you to use higher denomination prepaid mobile voucher cards such as: Br.1000, Br.500, Br.250, Br.100, and Br.50 etc.

    Example: If your bill amount is Br.557, you can use prepaid mobile voucher card denominations of Br.500 + Br.50 + Br.10 = Br.560. The difference (Br.3) will be transferred to the next month’s payment.

    • You will receive an automatic SMS notification upon your bill settlement.
